Why I Hate Fantasy

So as everyone in class knows (mostly because I was 1 of 5 out of about 250 students) I hate fantasy books. They are hard to follow, the things that happen have no purpose, the concepts are hard for me to grasp, and I am not a creative thinker. I am very much a math and science person, which makes me an analytical thinker, so I like things to have order and make a point. When something happens I always ask why or how or for what reason, and in fantasy these questions are nearly impossible to answer. I am also very much a realist, and fantasy is definitely not real. The places created in the novels are abstract and make no sense. I do not like to be taken out of my comfort zone, and that is exactly what fantasy does to me. I would much rather read about something that could happen in real life, or that I can relate to events that have happened to me or occurred in my lifetime. I just do not understand how someone could think so outside the box to create a fantasy novel. I guess that’s why I don’t enjoy them, because I do not think outside the box very often
